“Hidden” behind 6800 Burnet Road is the Growler Room. The Growler Room is exactly what it sounds like and more: a room filled with 16 taps and growlers available to purchase to fill them with! They also sell T-shirts, vintage beer posters, beer steins, glasses and other trinkets. Onsite custom engraving on Steins & Growlers is also available(think I might get “Beer me” engraved on one of ours.)
Dean & Sean opened the Growler Room about three weeks ago. Before that they ran(and still do) Steins.com & Pubglasses.com.
A little over a year ago, Craft and Growler in Dallas called in for a large order of growlers. Intrigued what the order was for, Craft & Growler explained about their business thus inspiring Dean & Sean to open The Growler Room in Austin.
Dean & Sean are very personable and have extensive knowledge of craft beers. They are looking to rotate and keep things going. We picked up a growler of Cascabel Cream Stout by 512 Brewing and it was spicy and delicious!
