Express your creative side while imbibing your favorite craft beer with Crafts and Drafts.

Whether you are a craft enthusiast, or a complete crafting novice, the new DIY pop-up Crafts and Drafts has something for every skill level.

Ananda Neureither founded Crafts in Drafts in 2015 while living in Chicago as a response to attending one too many BYOB painting events, “as a crafter and avid DIYer, I couldn’t help but think about all the other great projects you could do instead of just paintings”, she says. She relocated to Austin this past summer and brought her love of all things do-it-yourself with her, “I like to make cool things and I want an excuse to make them”.

Events are held at popular places all over town, including breweries, “the laid back atmosphere of a brewery fits perfectly with screw drivers and wood,” she muses. The calendar features a variety of instructor lead step-by-step DIY projects that will send you home with a Pinterest worthy item that you will love and use.

Open to everyone 21 and up, seasonal projects are happening now, so get involved this week and create a personalized gift, or a fun item for yourself, while enjoying the company of other DIYers paired with your favorite craft beer.

Pam Catoe

Like most people, my love for craft beer started after college (once I could afford it!) and escalated quickly. I love being a part of the Austin beer culture and am always expanding my brew knowledge. I work in a high tech company here in town and love spending time with my kiddo, devouring a book and watching all things SciFi. Follow Me on Twitter @PamCraftBeerATX
