Craft Beer Plans For Valentine’s Day
I have to admit, I am not personally a fan of Valentine’s Day. Some of you may or may not agree, but I think what we can all agree on is everything is better with craft beer. Here is a breakdown of a few ways you can celebrate your love (or hate) of Valentine’s Day this holiday weekend.
Want to get out of town for the weekend? Big Bend Brewing Company is hosting the Fourth Annual Valentine’s in Valentine on Sunday from 3-10pm at The Old Mercantile in Valentine, Texas. The event is family friendly and features local food and live music courtesy of Jerry Jeff Walker & Band and many more. Tickets $25
Galentine’s Day is celebration introduced by the TV character Leslie Knope of Parks and Recreation where ladies celebrate ladies, “It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus Fritattas.” This year Zilker Brewing Co. is hosting their inaugural Galentine’s Day Celebration featuring a local vendor trunk show, a special cask tapping and a raffle benefitting SafePlace. The event is FREE.
